After meeting with President Shpend Ahmeti, head of DP Lulzim Basha said the first commitment I made on this visit is for co-ordination to be complete even with political forces in Kosovo, away from inadequate protagonisms.
He said that important processes such as dialogue with Serbia require a co-ordination between the US and the European Union.
“A total unconditional support to political forces in Kosovo. There's no room for teaching. The best service Kosovo can become is giving up inappropriate protagonism, which has been used for domestic consumption”, Basha added.
Regarding the proposal-accuses against former KLA leaders, Basha stressed that no one and nothing can tarnish the liberation war that was a defence fight against the aggressor.
While Pristina leader Shpend Ahmeti, after thanking Basha for the visit, indicated that a cohesion of the Albanian political factor is needed. According to him, this is a crucial year for Kosovo, not only in terms of dialogue and court, but it is a difficult period for Kosovo.
Ahmeti said Albania's assistance is more necessary than ever.
