Protesters, most of whom wore masks, walked in front of the parliament building in the Serbian capital, urging President Aleksandar Vucic to resign.
Similar peaceful protests were held in Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Cacak and Nis.
Bulgaria is also involved in numerous waves of antigovernmental protests. Protests are organised by a civic initiative for justice reform called “Justice for all”.
The country's president, Ruman Radev, calls on the centre-right government to step down and chief prosecutor to step down as the only way to alleviate mounting tensions and end mass protests across the country, which are even more dangerous because of Avid-19. /euronews
