She has spoken about the visit of Democratic Party of Albania President Lulzim Basha to Kosovo, which promised to lift the nation's road tax.
Balaj, however, has said he expects the national road tax to be removed from the Rama government, as he has said he promised the deputy prime minister from Albania, Erion Brace.
And he told us to meet that if I enter the government that will remove the tax on the nation's road, I am hoping that will happen earlier. Deputy Prime Minister Erion Brace has promised me that the tax will be lifted early or suspended at least for this season. I've personally seen Erion Brace take it seriously and await good news. That tax is unfair to us, but Albania's state cannot afford to avoid that contract, but at least suspend”, Balaj said.
Balaj has also talked about her initiative to clean up the park “Heroina” in Pristina.
Whatever I've seen I've been saddened by that without purity, there have been inscriptions and figures drawn in glass fences and this has been a little painful. I've gone there to pay attention to such a memorial that is very important to women”, Balaj added.
