Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami has asked MPs to support the Kosovo Assembly amendment that would enable the online vote of MPs.
Bajrami has said that there is a shortage of MPs in the hearing, who as a consequence of the COVID-19, cannot participate and, as a result, are not even passing international agreements.
The chief mentioned it as an amendment to the Parliament's online vote. As a result of the pandemic, we are seeing some MPs missing, and as a result, they cannot even pass international agreements”, Bajrami has said in her address.
She has said that today, even the budget revision is expected until she has stressed that 2/3 of MPs' votes are needed.
We have the budget review law today, requiring 2/3 of the votes. As soon as the decision amendment of the Parliament passes, MPs can vote from a distance, and from a house, so that the approval of the emergency fiscal package” can be allowed, it has added.
Bajrami has said that if the law is passed on international agreements and the review of the budget, citizens and businesses will be penalised.
It's a budget voted on March 3rd. If they pass financial agreements, citizens and businesses will be penalised. I urge you to pass this amendment as soon as possible, to pass these laws, which are vital to the citizens of Kosovo”, has concluded Bajram.
