Fifteen findings have identified the National Auditor's Office in the Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service. In the report for 2019, violations have been identified related to budget planning and realisation, wages and wages in many other areas. A tender for medical equipment weighed nearly 175 thousand euros. Although the equipment was purchased, it was left in the warehouse.
The economic operator is committed to installing and functioning equipment with a set of their guarantees of two (2) years. The equipment was accepted and paid at the total value of the contract in November 2019. During the physical examination of the equipment, we found that some of the equipment worth 174,000 euros were not installed and functional, but were found in QKU's warehouse. The contract was the framework and had flexibility in terms of commands”, one of the findings of this institution for SKKKUK, KOHA reports.
More than 700 thousand euros, according to the ZKA, have been spent on non-equivales economic categories for spending.
“Sic has presented the issue's emphasis, SSKKUK in 2019 through budget planning and judicial decisions has paid and recorded expenses worth 730,805 euros in non-adequate economic categories”, is another find presented in this report.
The negotiated tenders (without public notice) are counted as problematic.
