Kosovo Police, namely, the Central Investigation Sector by the Directorate for Trafficking in Human Beings, during investigative actions in co-ordination with the Founding Prosecutor in Pristina, the Department of Security, with the date of 21.07.2020, has arrested a person (1) suspected, for the Criminal Action “Trafficking with people”, who allegedly recruited, transported, transported and kept seven minor victims (hanosovars) under control, using them for forced labor.
During the implementation of this plan for arresting the suspect as evidence has been temporarily confiscated:
(1) a mobile phone and
(2) two notebooks of evidence.
The minor victims have been treated according to Standard Action Procedures for Trafficking Victims, while with a decision to the prosecutor, the suspect is sent to the detention for 48 hours, for further legal procedures.
