Analyst Ramadani: The Battle With David-19 will be marathon

Renowned Kosovo analyst Shkodran Ramadani has made a long status in his Facebook profile, speaking after today's measures imposed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to fight the Deved-19 pandemic. He said that we must go beyond two opposed extremes, one of it [...]

He has said that we must go beyond two opposed extremes, one of which requires severe measures and damage to the other's inter-economic intermission “total” (sic).

Ramadani has called Kosovo's struggle with pandemic as <x0marathonic” because it is still unknown when such a thing will end, Periscope follows.

Kosovo needs policies and measures that regulate the distribution of the virus in order to maintain balance between civic health, health capacities and economic well-being. ” he said.

Below Status

Unfortunately in Kosovo, only two extremes seem to exist:

1) Severe and anti-unconstitutional measures maintaining civic health, but bankroll the economy due to human and labour bans.

2) Anarchy's nearly total, where the spectator government stands back against businesses trying to compensate for lost profits during isolation. So they place more tables and chairs in the locals than before the pandemic.

Not one of them has the answer to the reality that we will be confronted with. Once an epidemic. Then the pandemic. Moreover, according to many predictions, this virus will be turned into a wander.

So it's very likely that Avid-19 will live long among us and until the discovery of the vaccine, its overwhelming depth will take many lives.

Therefore, each of us should stick it to his head that the fight with Ovidius-19 is maratonic, and these two extreme measures do not provide the necessary conclusion to this long and painful road.

Kosovo needs policies and measures which regulate the distribution of the virus in such a way that the balance between civic health, health capacities and economic prosperity is maintained.

To begin with, institutions must be very tough with all businesses and persons who do not create the space needed to maintain distance.

QKUK has to remove part of the burden and through treatment and placing patients even at other hospital centres, distribute responsibility across Kosovo. At the same time, health capacities must be increased through investments.

Sorry about Labin & Co., but party weddings should not be allowed. Not even 50. Cacteria must be monitored all the time so they don't change into areas where the virus gains its spread power.

And more efforts are needed to alert the public further than any conspiracy, nor the simple seasonal “virus” All who publicly deny the existence of this virus must face the law.

There is no other way!

We all need to understand that this virus is a real killer and if we don't have the stability necessary to deal with it collectively and individually, we can lose a very serious battle and with it
