Albania's Assembly approves the recommendation of the report on the issue of dismissal of President Meta.
With 78 votes, the pro is set not to be downloaded according to the findings and report Ulsi Manja presented earlier when he said President Meta's violations are not serious until the dismissal, but that there are recommendations.
Meanwhile, 17 votes were against and 8 abstained.
The story of a year of debate was closed today with the recommendation to make an organic law for the institution of the head of state.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said in the country that the majority would initiate an initiative for an organic law for the president's institution.
“It is time for the Parliament to give direction to clarify formal and substanial competencies, an organic law for the president, including definitions for the non-invention of electoral processes, to avoid scandalous precedents, to become a simplification for the appointment of members of the court, according to commission recommendations and regulatory mechanisms.
It can no longer happen for the president to refuse to decree ministers. All must be addressed, not to Ilir Meta, but to the presidential institution, which is now clinging to its throat and used as an instrument for party politics, to promote conflict and fuel conflict. We have a president with the moon, every time the moon spins in the right direction and co-operates as in the case of COVID we are available to co-operate” he said.
