The Kosovo government and the British Embassy in Kosovo have signed today a memorandum of understanding on the continuation of the drafts project on public boards.
British Ambassador Nicholas Abbott, through a Facebook post, has said it is dangerous that institutions in Kosovo have the right people in key positions.
Abbotts also added that the same people should be transparently selected and on merit basis.

It is important that Kosovo institutions have the right people in key positions, elected transparently and on merit basis. So today I was delighted to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti for continuing our draft project. As I said at the signing ceremony, the success of this project will be Kosovo's success. The failure of the recruiting processes, and the appointments not based on merit, would mean failure for Kosovo and its institutions.
