48 days in power, Hoti has not yet sent legislative agenda to the Assembly

They have spent 48 days of government voting, Hoti, but despite that, has not yet submitted the legislative agenda for voting to the Kosovo Assembly. As such, 129 bills involving the legislative programme have received the green light at the sixth executive collection, people's elected are waiting for review and vote [...]
While in the opposition party, Vetevendosje Movement, address criticism against this legislative programme, at the ruling LDK party argue it. Meanwhile, connoisseurs of the justice system demand that this legislative agenda for 2020 focus solely on basic laws.
LDK MP Rock Manaj, who is also chairman of the Commission for Legislation, tells Kosovo that some of the bills have been under consideration in the Assembly even earlier. But according to him, since they have become zero points already the functional commission must prepare their work plans to deal with them all.
The “is a legal package that included over 120 laws, normally part of them are that have been under consideration in the Parliament earlier during past governance. But after the distribution of the Parliament they return zero point. So the government has again prosecuted a portion of the same laws. Even part of the laws that were being handled by former government Kurti”, Manaj says.
Meanwhile, the opposition deputy of the Vetevendosje Movement, Artan Abrashi, says the government's legislative agenda Hoti has only to address the party interests of the ruling parties.
We, as a Parliament, are also initially awaiting such a thing, we expect to be considered by legislative agenda, but this has not yet happened... According to us, this legislative agenda of this government has only to address the party interests of these coalition partners. There is nothing useful that goes in favour of the citizens and the national interest of Kosovo. As a result, we are dealing with a document that makes no sense, except for the political and party of these political groups”, he says.
In contrast, Betim Musliu from the Kosovo Institute for Justice states that the basis of political circumstances and short term until 2020, legislative agenda should focus solely on the Code of Criminal Procedure, Constitutional Changes for Veting and international agreements.
This agenda should focus solely on basic leagues given the brief period of 2020. I believe international agreements, the Code of Criminal Procedure, and the proposal for constitutional changes as far as Veting is concerned are concerned. Given the short time it is now in 2020. I believe the legislative agenda should only be adjusted to the necessity of basic laws”, he said.
The legislative agenda of the government Hoti included, among other things, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo bill, the Juridical Act and the draft law on change and implementation of the Law on Financing Political Subjects.
