Over 100 interior affairs ministry officials and agencies operating under this ministry have so far proved positive for COVID-19. 20 of the infected are civilian staff, four officials from Minister Veliu's Cabinet and 80 police officials, the Express reports.
Details about their condition have been provided by the MPB Information Office. According to this institution, the condition of the infected is stable.
They say that apart from the six police officials found for hospital treatment, the other infected have been identified in their homes.
Until today at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and MPB agencies, there are a total of 104 officials infected with Covis -19, with 20 officials from civilian staff, 4 officials from the minister's cabinet and 80 being police officials. According to reports their situation is stable where all the infected are isolated in their homes, except for the six police officials in the hospital for treatment”, the MPBACE's answers to the Journal Express are said.
Meanwhile, other officials who have had contact with the infected are also found in proselytizing, but do not have any symptoms.
“MPB is aware that their situation is stable at the moment. Also, some officials who are cases of contact with people infected with COVID-19 are in isolation themselves but without symptoms. We inform you that MPB is working with essential staff according to the recommendations of the IKSHPK”, they have stated from this institution.
Otherwise, 119 new coronary cases were confirmed yesterday. With this figure, the total number of confirmed cases from the beginning of the pandemic has reached 5 thousand and 237, with a total of 113 cases of death that have had other associated diseases.
