Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has said his state is willing to negotiate with Kosovo “without terms” and “trust”, but that mutual recognition is not in the agenda.
“We are ready for talks but... there is a white flag”, he told Reuters in an interview.
According to him, dialogue is welcome if it is a dialogue... in which it can see what is possible, what compromise there can be.
“We believe it is in the interest of Kosovo and the international community... to talk about free circulation of capital, people and services”.
Talks between Kosovo and Serbia were interrupted in 2018.
The Serbian president during this interview has also said that his state will have a balanced approach when reports with the EU, Russia and China are in question.
