After some minor complications on the journey yesterday, the international community intervened. I'm on my way to Pristina thanks to the Swiss Army,” writes Lajcak. “Pres to officially launch my visit to Kosovo later this day,” the EU official added.
Some 150 other passengers on the same flight as Lajcak, among whom Albanians are reported, reportedly continue to be stuck in Zurich.
According to information given to passengers there, the Albanian side has not approved the landing of this plane on the Rinas runway.
On Monday day, the European Union opened the borders between member states, meanwhile, Albania has opened air borders with only 3 states, Serbia, Greece and Austria.
The remaining Swiss plane should come to Albania only if our country had agreements with Switzerland to allow flights.
Switzerland refuses to take passengers from Albania, and therefore this agreement does not exist. Meanwhile, the 150 passengers left in Zurich must return to their country.
