I'm very close to Joe Beden on social topics and on political themes,” said Powell on CNN. I've been working with him for 35, 40 years. And now he's a candidate and I'll vote for him. ”
But Powell said he was not planning to participate in the presidential candidate campaign of the Democrats, Periscopi explains.
“Paj, I have not been asked (to campaign for Biden) and I guess I will,” he added. “Campaigning isn't what suits me the most. I'll talk about it, but I don't intend to campaign. ”
Powell, during this interview, severely attacked the actions and character of current American President Donald Trump, saying he had lowered America in the eyes of the world.
This is not the first time Powell did not support the republican candidates for US president. He also supported Hillary Clinton in 2016.
