This has been done in spite of the increase in the number of Coronavirus infected.
Representatives of schools and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation have told Radio Free Europe that they have already taken all measures so that students do not get sick with COVID-19, the disease that causes coronarys.
At the “elementary school, Fatic Conica” in Pristina, students are equipped with transparent gloves and masks that protect all faces. The disinfectant tunnel has already been established at the entrance of the school.
The principal of this school, Jehona Oruqi, told Radio Free Europe that they are holding classes from Monday (June 8th), 130 students of the ninth classes, which will last two weeks.
We have five parallels of ninth classes in our school and are divided into groups, out of 13 students. Students are distributed in ten learning rooms. They are also divided day by day. A total of 130 students, but today there have been only 65 students. So effective teaching only holds 5 days”, she said.
According to Oruqi, children are divided into two groups where students will be in school banks for five days, while five more days they will be teaching online.
The most useful long-term learning application remains "Zoom," where more than two can communicate through audio and video. This app is being used in many parts of the world for far-reaching lessons.
The arrival test in Kosovo will be subject to 25 thousand and 400 students of the ninth classes, while 25 thousand and 800 students will undergo the senior test, said Besa Bytyqi, spokespersons at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation.
Continued teaching is done according to measures introduced by the Kosovo National Public Health Institute.
Renea Munishi, a ninth-grader who follows the teaching at primary school “Ismail Cemajli” in Pristina, speaking of Radio Free Europe, said that although she has been afraid of the virus, she says that at the school where she follows the lesson, she is feeling safe, as the distance is being maintained and all have gloves masks.
I'm back in school because I'm in ninth grade and I have to prepare for the destination test. I'll learn the nine subjects involved in the test, and the lesson will take two weeks. The lesson is taking a short time and starting at 9: 00 a.m. and finishing at 11: 00 p.m. Before learning begins, we have to line up, put on masks and gloves, and keep a distance, which applies even within the school object”, she said.
Even in this school, children are divided into small groups in each class to maintain physical distance.
At the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, they say the lesson has not started in the Malisheva and Yunik municipality, since it has been said that all necessary preparations have not been made there. Authorities have said teaching in these two municipalities will begin this week.
The Kosovo government has closed all schools in March, when the first cases with the new choreography were presented.
