Prizren Mayor Mytaher Haskuka reports he has been involved with the Democratic League of Kosovo in this municipality.
Haskuka writes:
NJOFTIM!
Dear citizens,
I want to announce that as a result of recent developments, the motion of no-confidence against the government LV V-LDK and the creation of a government which is in conflict with the democratic will expressed on 6 October, I have impossible to continue the coalition in Prizren municipality.
After developments in Assembly Communists in February of this year, I have tried to find ways to continue the coalition, believing that the road to Kosovo's statehood and the establishment of responsible institutions based on professionalism and promote democracy and development can only be done with genuine co-operation between the V Movement. HOME AND Democratic League of Kosovo.
But my faith and expectations as many citizens Kosovo was not realised.
I think coalitions should be based on mutual trust and in this respect after recent developments there is no room left to continue our journey.
I want to thank municipal directors from the LDK and LDK assents for the current co-operation and work on meeting the government programme at the local level.
I hope that democratic forces within LDK that are not blackmailed will continue their efforts that The LDK will turn it into a party where democracy decides, not a handful of people who, perhaps, are related to their interests or blackmail. The President, to save himself, is making it worse. Kosovo with the Serbian List.
Stay healthy!
