The Voice of America reports that researchers in Sweden are optimistic about their work on a treatment that can slow down the progress of the disease, alleviate symptoms, and save lives.

And so this gives us a structural sense of how these antibodies work to stop infection”, He says.

McInerney says the results will be published within months.

This effort could lead to the production of a drug that could help reduce the strain of the virus in a patient's blood as the immune system develops its response to infection.
