Kosovo police have announced that they have been notified by the Vetevendosje Movement for the rally, to be held Friday in Pristina. “Linked to the announced rally/manifestation to be held tomorrow (12.06.20) at 5: 00 p.m. in Pristina, Kosovo Police announce the public opinion that the organisers have notified the Kosovo Police of holding this rally”, police recognised.

Kosovo's “Police recognise the right of citizens to public gatherings, free speech at public gatherings, protests and manifestations, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the laws in power, and in time have made all necessary preparations, in order to manage the gathering, maintain order, calm and public safety, before, and after the completion of the” rally, the report stresses.

Police have announced they will take all consonant actions of the Kosovo Constitution and laws in force.

“As the law enforcement institution, the Kosovo Police will take all consonant actions of the Constitution of Kosovo, laws in force, to ensure public order and tranquillity, public health, as well as to respect the earlier decisions and measures to the pandemic”, becomes known in the police announcement.
