“With a date of 09.06.20 about 02.00 in the village of Vremica, a police unit from the border station in Vermica, during the conduct of regular tasks for border checkpoint monitoring, has observed a group of 24 people with Syrian citizenship illegally entering from the Republic of Albania on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”.
In addition to this group, Kosovo Police have noticed two vehicles in which there were four people allegedly waiting to smuggle seniors.
Police at the location have made the arrest of three suspected persons with whom they have been confiscated by personal phones allegedly containing evidence involving suspects in the case.
It has also become the seizure of two vehicles that have been attempted to smuggle into migrants.
In consultation with the competent prosecutor, the three suspects have been sent to custody for 48 hours, while the fourth suspect is on the run by Kosovo Police, as he is on the run.
