PDK: With the governance of Haskuka, Prizren's Historical Centre has turned bad

The Kosovo Democratic Party, branch in Prizren, has accused the mayor of this municipality, Mytaher Haskuka, saying that even after three years in local government there has shown no sign of commitment and political will to improve the situation, rather it has made it even more difficult. Prizren municipality, especially the Historical Centre. PDK runs a communique [...]
The PDK through one municipality says that Mytaher Haskuka, in his election pledges, more than 10% of them, devoted it to addressing the problems which, over the years, faced by the Prizren Historical Centre.
Also in many electoral debates with unprecedented enthusiasm, he promised and deceived the citizens of the municipality Prizren, that the main focus of its governance will be capital investments in the historical centre of Prizren. But what happened in these three years of Haskuke government? In fact, the Prizren Historical Center has become worse. She was left at the mercy of fate on one side, and the destroyers on the other. Much bitter and most unacceptable is the fact that senior institutional officials of Prizren's municipality is blindly serviced to the destroyers, whether not to act in fulfilling official tasks or even acting illegally, as if in the name of protecting the lives of citizens from the eventual collapses of these buildings. To their bad fortune, they do not understand or even want to know that these instigative leaders would have to stand up for our legacy past, not only by preventing the precious assets that represent our city's past but by investing enough budgets with the aim of restoring and converting these buildings to the Historical Centre under legal provisions and obligations. Surprisingly, the city's first man who took the trust of citizens to run and manage our municipality after three years in local government has shown no sign of commitment and political will to improve the situation, rather, has made it even worse. The Prizren municipality, especially the Historical Centre”, says in the PDK communiqué in Prizren, where it points out that without political will, professional access and literal treatment of cultural heritage protection have no progress and development of a people.
So this indisposure is being seen and witnessed every day, seeing that in the municipality budget Prizren was not introduced any budgetary voice for restorative-controversial intervention in heritage assets Cultural at the Historical Center Prizren. Someone may not have been too pleased with the PDK's governance, but public investments with particular emphasis on the Historical Centre have not been missed. I can remind you of investments on the path of “Funders”, a project which has been implemented in collaboration with donors, “road. Shuap Spahiu”, “instead of “Prizren”, fasading and maintenance of many buildings within Historical Center for Prizren, and many other projects. Fortunately these works still live. Finally, Myta should understand that with posts on the fcb there is no government. Good governance and for the benefit of citizens is made only by bold political and managerial decisions. Unfortunately, our citizens must have hope, his time is running out and ending. Prizren will soon return to the spirit of development and recovery”, the communiqué says.
