“The Forum of Leaderies” is the idea of Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti to reach a national consensus in Kosovo before the start of dialogue with Serbia.
But with this initiative it seems that the two opposition parties in Kosovo, the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic Party of Kosovo are not agreeing.
In the first days of his work as chief of executives, Avdullah Hoti began working to remove obstacles that left Kosovo and Serbia for two years away from the dialogue table.
Hoti's invitation has not accepted the Vetevendosje Movement, which say the government led by this prime minister has no legitimacy and therefore has not responded to this invitation.
“at Movement V headquarters We received a letter two days ago that the LVV chairman Albin Kurti was invited to discuss the current government for future dialogue with Serbia. A government dependent and enabled by the votes of the Serbian List and formed by Thaci and for it, as well as a government that removes reciprocity with Serbia has neither credibility nor legitimacy. So we haven't responded to that invitation because we won't be part of these” meetings, VV spokesman Arlind Manjuka wrote.
Besides LVV, Hoti's invitation to the meeting has been considered un-serious even in the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
From this party, news.net has said invitations from television studios are not serious and talk about the evil approach the government is following.
They say that for the prime minister of the status-quos government (where they refer to the government Hoti), the unity of academics and their support is more important than supporting political parties.
We can't comment on an invitation that doesn't exist as reality right now. Invites from the studios and public statements of various officials are not serious, and unfortunately talk about the bad approach this government is pursuing for the dialogue and seriousness it is showing to this very important process. For the prime minister of the status-quos government, which is more important is the unity of academics and their support than the political parties”, the PDK's response to news.net says.
It seems that Hoti will not have the opposition's support in creating “Forum of Leaders”, as he recently called it.
