The Infectious Clinic of the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo is continuing to stay with 11 patients infected with COVID-19, while two patients who have already recovered from this disease are continuing treatment at the clinic because of other accompanying diseases.
The director of this clinic, Lindita Berisha, has provided details about Telegrafi, where she said the condition of one of the patients who has been cured by COVID-19 is serious.
“in the infectious clinic are 11 cases that are positive with COVID-19. Of those 11 cases, five are with oxygen therapy. Three other cases are pending results. Two cases that are negative are continuing treatment. In intensive treatment, there are two cases, one is positive with COVIID-19 and is being treated with oxygen therapy, while there is also one case which has been healed by COVID-19, but is continuing to be treated as it is in serious condition because of other”, Berisha said.
Otherwise, the first cases with COVID-19 in Kosovo were marked on March 13th. From that date to June 4th, 1,147 cases of this virus have been recorded with a total of 30 victims. While 874 patients have recovered.
In the National Institute of Public Health over 24 hours, all contact and surveillance are being contacted and monitored, as well as contacts in contact by tasking them for privacy and seeking medical assistance if they have symptoms.
