The Kosovo Assembly has clarified allegations of miscounting votes for the government Hoti at today's session.
The allegations came after the government was said to have abstained from even AAK MP Donika Kaday-Bujupi, while the head of the session, Metom Shala, confirmed that the abstention is only one MP.
The Kosovo Assembly, through a communique for the media, has clarified that no mistakes occurred during the vote count, and that the number presented was correct.
“However, due to the media's great interest and long-term interest until the release of the transcript, we are reflecting the voting results at today's extraordinary session (03. 06. 2020, for the election of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, according to parliamentary groups”, it is said in the communiqué.

Given the original practice of the Assembly, voting for the election of the Speaker of the Parliament, the deputy heads of the Parliament and the government is done by hand.
Consequently, the Assembly has neither kept any evidence with the names of MPs participating in these votes.
However, because of the enormous media interest and long-term until the release of the transcript, we are reflecting the results of the vote at today's extraordinary session (03. 06. 2020, for the election of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, according to parliamentary groups:
LDK GP: Presented 26 deputies, lacked: Vjosa Osmani and Haxhi Avdyli
Voting: 25 for, 1 abstention
PDK GP present: 24 deputies
Voting: 24 against
AAK GP: 13 deputies present
Voting: 12 for (Deputate Donika Kadaj-Bujupi has released the hall at the time of the vote)
GP NISMA + AKR: Present 6 deputies

Serbian List GP: Present 10 deputies
Voting: 10 per
