Vetevendosje Movement MP Lieburn Aliu demanded that a resolution be voted in, which according to him will build a base of equality against Serbia before the meeting in Washington. But the proposal did not get enough votes to pass as a resolution.
He said he hopes the resolution will support the Democratic Party and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
Presenting the resolution, Aliu said among other things that the Kosovo government should apply reciprocity principles with Serbia in all areas.
“The government of the Republic of Kosovo to apply the principles of reciprocity with Serbia in all areas, the reciprocity measure in the field of trade relations to be established within five days of adopting this resolution, such as the reason is the Republic of Kosovo, enjoys right in its citizens, entrepreneurs, professionals, to be treated equally without obstruction, with dignity necessary when professional activities develop, the Republic of Kosovo, with the declaration of international subjectivity and documentation, or any form of action in international relations cannot be otherwise mutually mutually Muslim, he said.
He said Kosovo citizens each time have expressed the will to be treated equally with others in the region.
“I seek from you honored deputies of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly to vote on this resolution with the idea that it will build a base of equality against Serbia especially in the phase in which we are located before going to Washington and prior to the eventual agreement with Serbia, which we are not even aware of what will be discussed, nor do we know what we will hold for it”, he said.
With 83 deputies in the hall, the resolution proposed by MP Librun Aliu did not pass since it received only 31 votes for, 34 against and 1 abstention.
