The new prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, is not doing well in creating consensus for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
Despite his attempt to create a sweeping team even with opposition representatives, the latter are continuing to ignore it completely. Periscop has learned that two days ago, exactly Monday, Prime Minister Hoti had invited representatives of the two largest opposition parties -- Vetevendosje and PDK -- to the meeting, but both ignored him, not going to and not communicating with him. The creation of the Hoti Government, after the collapse of the Kurti Government with the no-confidence motion in the Kosovo Parliament, was created as a compromise between political subjects to resume dialogue with Serbia, which is recently not known whether to resume in Washington or Brussels.
On the first day of the Hoti Government, the new prime minister had pledged that the executive would return to work rather than daily rhetoric. He came to the head of the government with the pledge to strengthen friendship with international partners and to take over the dialogue process, creating other discours and building consensus with the opposition as well.
