The 11 European countries isolated from the World Health Organization are Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Northern Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, Sweden and Ukraine.
European Union ambassadors are expected to meet this week to discuss reopening the bloc's external borders on July 1st. One of the criteria member states are considering to limit travel movement from certain countries are for those with the highest numbers of the infected. Countries such as the United States, Russia, and Brazil will likely not be included on the list of safe places.
