The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo invites all of its countrymen not to head towards Kosovo without regular documentation and without knowledge of measures against pandemic, which are in effect in countries through which they plan to cross transit.
Today the ministry has made efforts to come to the aid of Kosovo citizens blocked at the border between Slovenia and Croatia.
The austobus, launched from Italy towards Kosovo, has been banned by the authorities, because Croatia requires that travellers have regular documentation (transitional or Schengen movement), while Montenegro has not opened borders with Italy (from where it is headed), because this country is still considered a channel of COVID-19.
There are about 12 Kosovo citizens on the bus, while others are citizens of the region's countries.
The agency, which has organised the trip without asking permission from Kosovo institutions and not knowing the measures that are in force in the countries through which it was planning to transit.
