The MF explains citizens: A message you received about Pacos Fiscal is fraud

The MFT has clarified that this announcement has nothing to do with the finance ministry and its structures, and is aimed only at fraud.

The Finance Ministry only communicates through official addresses that come from the official domain (@rks-gov.net). The Social Information Agency (ASHI) has already taken the necessary security actions and has announced the domain users of Kosovo institutions”, the communique says.

Today at 15:08 minutes, an unknown and malicious electronic address ([email protected]) has been sent an alleged announcement on behalf of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance and Transfers in the direction of a certain number of official electronic addresses, allegedly for the possibility of benefiting from the Emergency Fiscal Package through the completion of certain personal nature data.

The Ministry of Finance announces the widespread opinion that this announcement has nothing to do with the Ministry of Finance and its structures, and as such has aimed at fraud, thus falling into the domain of cybercrime. In addition, the attached tool in this statement “orienton” receptionnaire on a form that appears to be a form of fraud, for illegally collecting sensitive personal and banking data. Therefore, we ask all officials or citizens who have accepted this announcement not to meet the required data and in such cases to inform the Kosovo Police of the case.

In order to clarify this act with elements of criminal work, the Ministry of Finance will co-operate closely with law enforcement agencies, and will in time announce public opinion on further developments.
