The Ministry of Finance is considering the proposal for withdrawing up to 10% of savings in the Pension Trust by citizens as a contribution at the time of pandemic.
But, from the ministry, they say they are considering the possibility of compensating financial means.
Deputy Finance Minister Agim Krasniqi in an interview for Online Economy said the mirror of the citizens' trust is far apart.
So as he stated, the ministry is looking at the possibility to compensate for all citizens the same.
Krasniqi argued that a large portion of citizens have small savings.
This issue is as an idea, the primary goal has been to mobilise more funds to increase the aggregate demand and offer. Whether there will be compensation, we are considering the issue of how it would be”.
We should be careful, since if we look at the trust boards of the citizens, a large part has very small savings. Much of it was to benefit very little”.
“On the other hand, another part had much to gain. If we make this compensation equal, depending on the attraction is not right. It is being discussed to find the mode from which they are all happily separated”, Krasniqi said.
Furthermore, Deputy Minister Krasniqi made the distinction between persons he says have 10,000 euros, and most of them only 100 euros.
As he says, this is a public currency exchange, reports EO.
The compensation issue I think should not be compensated for. If someone has the possibility that 10,000 euros by withdrawing and beating it to the state to compensate for it, the other who has 100 euros is not right in the sense of public money. The contributions are all of them, but the portion of compensation we need to take care of”, Krasniqi has said.
