Albania's President, Ilir Meta, has hosted his Kosovo counterpart Hashim Thaci's meeting in Tirana today.
The head of the Albanian state on Facebook has announced that at the meeting, they have expressed readiness for continued co-operation between the two countries to overcome the consequences of pandemic.
The willingness to continue co-operation between our two countries, with the goal of successfully overcoming the socioeconomic consequences of the COVIID-19 pandemic, returning to normal life of citizens, and fully stabilising the free movement of people and goods, especially with the approach of the tourist summer season”.
Meta has also cited the importance of continuing Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
It is of importance to continue the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue for the final normalisation of relations between these two states, which will ensure not only mutual recognition but their future in the EU. Co-existence between Albanians, Serbs is in the interest of European peace, stability and perspective
