According to Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) package for economic stimulus in the fight against the consequences of the Corona pandemic includes about 130 billion euros. The money will be available in 2020 and 2021. 120 billion euros from this package are made available by the federal government.
Government coalition leaders discussed this large stimulating package two days in a row. Merkel said we will try to get stronger from the extremely difficult situation together. German railway enterprise “Deutsche Bahn” will receive billions of euros in financial assistance from the federal government due to lack of income during the Corona crisis.
