The Ministry of Health has eased measures against the pandemic of Coronavirus in Kosovo.

This has been made known today at a media conference where Health Minister Armend Zemaj has spoken.

Among other things, the new decision will remove restrictions on the movement of citizens.

Below, you can read the full address of Minister Zemaj, showing the relief of measures:

The detailed medical check for all travelers entering the Republic of Kosovo, receiving the exact location notes in Kosovo (the address and phone number) for conveying their clinical situation from the CKMF of the respective municipalities.

The detailed check is conducted according to the WTO guides, consisting of temperature measurements, clinical symptoms and symptoms, as well as recent evental contacts with positive persons or suspicious people at COVID-19 weeks.

So based on these recommendations:
As of Monday, June 8, 2020, citizens who enter the Republic of Kosovo from which state they will not be subject to the mass of domestic self-solation 7 days.

While, instead of testing committed to Covis -19 for those entering, it will be the measure of control by the QKMF medical teams deployed at border points or even within the KKMFs.

Given the epidemiological situation, the MS will enable complete freedom of the movement of circulation of citizens and goods in particular with the Republic of Albania, as we have addressed the demands of many students and citizens of the Presevo Valley, so that even for them no restrictions apply to you for free movement with Kosovo.

Also removed from Monday day is the restriction of the movement between 9:00 and 5: 00 a.m.

The Health Ministry, along with the IKSHPK, will continue to convey the epidemiological situation and support health institutions.

However, we demand that the recommendations be strictly implemented, since there is still no danger, and the release of new cases as a result of neglect, may overload the health system with unforeseen consequences that would lead to increased number of cases and risks to the lives of citizens.
We demand that protective measures be rigorously respected by strictly respecting physical distance, use of masks, disinfectation, and ventilation of domestic and work environments, unable to sustain the eventual spread of the infection.

Therefore, we seek from citizens, businesses, gastronomies, and other sectors to strictly respect these measures in order to move on with other reliefs.

AUVK's Sanitary Inspectorate and municipal inspectors must certainly implement the Law for Inspectorate and the Law to prevent infectious diseases and to take responsibility measures in the event of the National Institute's eventual implementation of recommendations.

Any violation of rules by everyone will be considered a threat to the health and life of others.

No one has the right to risk the lives of relatives, elderly people, and chronically ill ones because of their negligence and failure to apply recommendations.

Every step forward, you even carry the risk with you while the virus is still among us. Maintain this stable situation in view of the worst epidemic situation in many countries of the world.

As we are in the summer season, implementation of the measures is of particular importance so that opportunities can be made to cope with the large influx of co-landers, who come to Kosovo during the summer.

Therefore, we are seeking caution, the relief of the measures should still be followed by increased discipline in their application, as there is still a danger of spreading to places where there is a large gathering of people. The relief of the measures has been made to make us more responsible.
Our sacrifice to maintain our health is considered a subliable value, so continue to work together for that purpose.

Professor Nasser Ramadani, meanwhile, stressed that the IKSHPK is continuing with tests on the population with the aim of reducing cases with Codí-19 and preventing the spread of the virus.
