VV Parliamentary Group chief Rexhep Selimi, in an interview for Online Economy, has said MPs from this party will comply with their mandate.
“Vetevendosje Movement and its deputies will be in line with the mandate MPs have and in line with Vetevendosje Movement decisions as political subject. Even now after every situation the only choice is elections because when there is a successful no-confidence motion even in accordance with the constitution with articles 82 and 95 are only solutions”.
“The elections will have to happen in the deadline as soon as possible. Such prejudice I don't believe helps our conversation because we haven't said we're going to throw tear gas”, he said.
Meanwhile, on the Constitutional Court's decision, Selimi has said he cannot create a new precedant, as according to him, an unconstitutional decision.
“I do not believe to be used as precedan something that is already an unfair decision, because the constitutional court ruling is already an unfair decision, as was the president's decree for Hot's appointment of prime minister”, he said.
Selimi has said that the June 5th protest has not organised the VV, EO reports.
“Petition is an expression of citizens and we have had other cases where citizens have expressed themselves through their form, whether through protests or petitions, because these are the forms and ways of citizens that can be expressed”.
“In the Kosovo Parliament, citizens have sent their winner and created their own majority the winning subject that is the Vetevendosje Movement, which will always be their voice and spokesman, but on the other hand citizens have decided to give their word because it is about them. Hence, citizens by petition are expressing their frustrations that someone wants to rob them of the victory that they limited on October 6,”.
