Limaj: No division, no exchange of territories

The Social Democrat Initiative has held its meeting with members of the Headship and branch chiefs.

Chairman of this subject, Fatmir Limaj, has spoken of the objectives of the new government. Kosovo, which includes the Social Democrat Initiative.

The head of the initiative has singled out two objectives of this government, such as the recovery of the economy and the conclusion of dialogue with Serbia.

Our “historic mission engagement will be the closure of the agreement with Serbia with mutual recognition, as well as the recovery of the economy after the situation created with COVID 19. Also another objective will be visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens”, he has said.

The leader of the Initiative has said every time Kosovo has been synchronized with the US, and European friends have never been hurt, adding that there will be no exchange of territories or divisions Kosovo.

Furthermore, Limaj has said that the government is tasked with dim polarisation that the past government has done in Kosovo society and restoring the situation to normal.

“One of our positions during the election campaign has been that it is a luxury for Kosovo to be given the head of the state to inexperienced people, that has been the minimum reason. Governing government has been a negative orientation. The other form of destructive governance is ignoring the law and all that has happened earlier by finding the easiest way through administrative decisions not based on the law to achieve political goals. Such governments are authoritarian. I mentioned these to show that we had a government with populist decisions, but with consequences to the country”, Limaj added.

He has requested from branch chiefs that after the pandemic closes with COVID 19 return to party activities in their respective municipalities.
