LDK still pending constitutional act

The Constitutional Court last Thursday found that President Hashim Thaci's decree to mandate Avdullah Hoti from the Democratic League of Kosovo for the prime minister's post is in line with the constitution.

The court also found that the “motion of distrust of a government in the assembly does not result in the mandatory distribution of the” Assembly, thus paving the way for the creation of the new government.

After that, the Democratic League of Kosovo has not yet submitted it to the Kosovo Assembly, the call for the session for the government vote.

In this regard, LDK Parliamentary Group chief Arben Gashi has told Telegrafi that they are awaiting full constitutional bias.

Following the court's ruling, President Hashim Thaci asked all political subjects to respect the Constitutional Court's decision.

And incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said the Constitutional decision is unacceptable.

Kurti has said that this decision is beyond imagination and under any logical and judicial level, adding that their struggle continues with the people.
