Nearly 70 days after being dismissed from the post of deputy prime minister, Avdullah Hoti has managed to occupy Albin Kurti's chair as Kosovo prime minister. He has received the trust of 61 Kosovo Assembly deputies yesterday to create the new Government.

Hoti was elected prime minister after the dismissal of Kurti Government on March 25th, when the no-confidence motion initiated by the coalition partner, the Democratic League of Kosovo was also voted.

The Hoti government will have four deputy prime ministers and 15 ministries. But who is Avdullah Hoti, deputy prime ministers and government ministers led by him?

Hoti has served as deputy prime minister for several weeks in Kurti Government, while being dismissed after the collapse of the LV coalition. V-LDK.

He led the Ministry of Finance in mid-2014 and 2017 in the ruling coalition PDK/ LDK.

Hoti is a regular professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Pristina, since 1998 and legalises Macromonomist I and Makroeconomi II.

From 1999 to the end of 2004, he was a researcher at the Riinvest Institute in Pristina, until he was editor-in-chief of the Contemporary Accountability Journal, published by the Association of Certificate Accountings and Auditors of Kosovo.

From August 2006 to 2007, he was a senior adviser to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. In contrast, between January 2008 and 2009, he was an adviser to the economy of the Pristina chairman, until later he was deputy chairman of the Pristina municipality.

Deputy prime ministers' accounts

As Hoti's deputy have been named Besnik Tahiri, Driton Selmanaj, Albulen Balaj-Halim and Goran Rakic.

Faithful Tahiri will be the first deputy prime minister from AAK in the Hoti Government.

Tahiri has been adviser to former Prime Minister Haradinaj and is AAK secretary-general.

He during Haradinaj's rule was the National Co-ordinator for State Reform.

He was an MP's candidate in the Kosovo Assembly in several elections.

Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj will also be. He has joined the Democratic League of Kosovo in 2017.

Selmanaj has twice been elected Kosovo Assembly deputy. He had worked on various civil society projects, then moving to LDK. It's a lawyer.

Albulen Balaj-Halim will also be deputy prime minister. She has held the position of a school principal and assistant at a college.

Balaj-Halimaj is the master of constitutional law science, administrative, meanwhile, has been an MP in the Kosovo Assembly in the sixth legislative period from 03.08.2017 to 22.08.2019.

The one in the Kosovo Assembly has been part of the Commission for Education, Science, Technology, Culture, Youth, Sports, Inovation and Intervention.

Goran Rakic has also been appointed to the post of deputy prime minister. Rakic has held important tasks even before, and the latest is North Mitrovica chairman.

Rakic has conducted the post of mayor of the North Mitrovica municipality since 2014. He won his second four-year mandate in 2017, winning local elections. Since 2017, he has been president of the Serbian List.

LDK% Ministers' profile in Hoti Government

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has returned to LDK deputy chairman Agim Veliu.

Veliu is one of the founders of the Democratic League of Kosovo in Podujevo, later a leader of this branch for many years.

In the 2017 local elections, he had been the candidate for Pristina's mayor, but who was ranked second.

Minister of Defense will continue to be Anton Quinn. He studied at Military Academy and was promoted as a career officer. During the recent war in Kosovo, he abandoned Switzerland to join the Kosovo Liberation Army. He lined up at the KLA under Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi's command.

With his unit, he conducted successful military operations in breaking the Albanian-Albanian border in Kostunica.

After the war, Quinn served in the KPC and KSF, until later he was part of Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu's Cabinet as responsible for National Security. Since 2010, Anton Quinn has been a deputy in the Kosovo Parliament.

He was appointed Minister of Defense at the Kurti Government until he continues to hold this position in the Hot government.

Even in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, there will be no change in leadership. At the top of this dictatorship will continue to be Vlora Dumosh.

Dumosh has conducted university studies at the University of Pristina Philological Faculty and has more than 20 years of experience in the field of education, youth and culture.

From 2009 to 2013, Dumosh has been Director of the Directorate for Culture, Youth and Sports in the Pristina municipality. She was also Chief of Staff of former Kosovo Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, during 2014-2017.

Part of the Government Cabinet will also be the deputy of several Parliamentary legislatures by LDK], Armend Zemaj. He will lead the Ministry of Health.

Zemaj has completed studies at the Jurydic Faculty at Pristina University.

In the recent October 6th 2019 parliamentary elections, Armend Zemaj has received 10,000 and 567 votes, positioned 15th on the LDK's most voted list, according to the CEC's final results.

Besian Mustafa will not change position either. It will continue to lead with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.

Bachelor's studies were completed at La Roche University in the United States, in finance and accounting, while Master Studies at City University in New York, the United States.

He was the Director-General of the Investment and Support Agency of Enterprises in Kosovo and a member of several boards, until 2018 also holds the position of the Kosovo Democratic League spokesman.

In early parliamentary elections held on October 6th, 2019, he ran for deputy, resulting from the 6 most voted on the Democratic League of Kosovo list.

Meanwhile, the current Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Hykmete Bajrami, will now lead the Ministry of Finance.

From 2014 to 2017, she served as minister of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Since 2010, she has been elected as LDK deputy in the Kosovo Republic Assembly in four legislatures. During its engagement as MP, Bajrami has been a member of several parliamentary commissions, such as: The Commission for Business and Finance and the Commission for Economic Development, Infrastructure, Trade, Industry and Regional Development.

In 2010, Bajrami was a World Bank adviser to the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The basic studies were completed in 2000 at the University of Pristina Economics, Management and Information University, as they completed their studies in Staffordshire University in England in 2003.

AAKA ministers' profile

In the Hoti Government, foreign policy will lead Melza Haradinaj Stubla. It is part of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and has been political adviser to former Prime Minister Haradinaj.

In her short biography on social networks, Melza Haradinaj shows he is Haradinaj's adviser, but has no blood connection with it.

In 2014 he was the AAK MP candidate, where he had received 2153 votes.

Haradinaj Stublla studied master at Oxford University.

Last year, she was sentenced by the Court for inacquacy of property, during her declaration as state official.

The Ministry of Justice in This Government Will Lead Selim Selimi. He is one of Haradinaj's closest men. The former prime minister appointed Selimi as chief of his staff, following the departure of Avni Arifi, who was the AAK leader's closest associate over the years.

Selimi earlier was part of President Atifete Jahjaga's cabinet as its legal adviser.

Law studies are conducted at the University of Turin and Duke University in the United States.

The Ministry of Education, AAK has chosen to lead him Lykaj Rame, not seen in political positions in the country before.

Likaj is a regular professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and is expected to take the lead in one of the dictatorships considered to have had the worst results in Kosovo. For his promotion as a professor in the UP's have raised doubts at the Education Growth Organisation.

NISMA Ministers Account

Part of the Hoti Government will also be Skender Recica and Vesel Krasniqi from the Initiative for Kosovo.

Recica will be Minister of Labour and Social Management, which she held during the Haradinaj government.

He completed university studies at the Faculty of Philology in German Language and Literature, as well as postgraduate studies in International Relations and Diplomacy.

He was Minister of Labour and Social Management from 2017, adviser to the International Protocol and Relations of the Chairman of the Republic of Kosovo, Jakup Krasniqi, in the 2008 period, 2014.

By 2015 he is a member of the Party's Headship and Foreign Relations Secretary NISMA for Kosovo.

And with the Ministry of Trade and Industry from now on, Vesel Krasniqi will lead.

Krasniqi completed his studies at the University of Pristina Economics Faculty in 2000 as he finished his practice at the University of Pristina Economics Faculty, public finance management, in 2012.

He was an official of Tourism at the Directorate for Economics, Board and Finance in the Malisheva municipality, chief of Inspectorate at the Economics Directorate, Board and Finance, Treasury Chief and later Director of Economy, Business and Finance in the Malisheva municipality.
