He is dead, Shukri Abdullahu, activist of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
The news has revealed Kosovo Assembly Speaker Vjosa Osmani, who through a Facebook post, expressed deep pain over the loss of a friend and LDK's activities.
Deeply in pain, I received news of our friend's sudden death, long-term activities, Shukri Abdullah.
Shukriu was the early activist of the Democratic League of Kosovo, committed to organising parallel institutional life in the 1990s, as well as organising the protection of borderline villages with Serbia during those years.
The political activity Shukriu continued after migration to Germany.
After the war ended, Shucriu made a valuable contribution to organising institutional life and distinguished himself as a humanist in all his activity.
At his death, the family lost the loved and the wise, while Prizren lost one of its most valuable activists. His memory will be permanent”, says Osman's post.
