Labby hosts wedding protest: Gives VV's right to rally

The protest was warned by singer Labinot Tahiri, raising a voice about not allowing partying and weddings until many activities have stopped at all.

Contacted by Indexline, singer Labinot Tahiri was asked about tomorrow's protest, whether he expects the support of his colleagues as well as whether he expects to change something after this protest and he gave his clarifications.

“I hope the Government and Ministry will undertake something, and it should certainly be allowed to hold weddings and parties because it is a great cost to the state and to us singers for four months now that we are not working. As many businesses are open, why not open up our business?

There is no further reason to continue with the closure of family parties when many more like the Government, Parliament are open, different cafes, bus lines.

When events in Montenegro, Albania are opened, why not open in Kosovo.

I have massive support, you can see it on social networks. There's a lot of interest.

I didn't take this initiative just for myself, I hope, in supporting colleagues.

On the 12th, the government had to make a decision, but I don't know why it hasn't been taken, but I think there's a good will from the government Minister Zemaj for any positive decision in our favor”, Labby said about IndexOnline.

Labie also talked about the VV rally that was held several days ago, saying that: “When I asked for protests I had criticism from some colleagues who did not raise their voices for the care of citizens. However, certain VV things are correct. Protests must be held when something good is required for the country.
