”Recognition by the Special Prosecutor on charges filed against President Thaci and Mr. Wessel, before they were confirmed by a judge and most likely contrary to the Court's rules, will seriously question their independence and professionalism”.
He has indicated that international media have also reported wrongly since it is possible that the Special Court will still dismiss the charges against Thaci and Wessel, Klen Kosova reports.
The majority of international media reported, by mistake, that Mr. Thaci and Mr. Wessel was officially charged. There is still a theoretical possibility that the judge may not confirm the charges. In that case, irreversible damage would have been caused in Kosovo's image as a new state”.
