The Kosovo Embassy in Germany has announced that today the last two special flights from Dusseldorf and Stutgarti, in which the repatriation of citizens from Kosovo was envisioned on the basis of emergency lists, have been realised.
According to the announcement of these Ambassadors so far, 1,000 and 400 citizens from Kosovo have been repatriated.
In this case, Kosovo Ambassador Beqe Cufaj has thanked all Kosovo diplomatic consular staff in Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin for the extraordinary engagement in the months of the pandemic, as well as Emergency Centres of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and, above all, Emergency Operations Centres of the Ministry of Health and National Health Institute.
“As Kosovo's largest mission with the largest number of countrymen living and working in Germany, we have faced the most numerous demands for migration. We have worked day and night to inform and serve the citizens. Respecting the law and communicating with the citizens has been the engine of our work -- even when we have managed to help, but even when we have not been able to meet the requirements. For all citizens I have only one message: thank you for your patience”
