The National Institute of Public Health in Kosovo currently has about 10,000 tests for the disease, COVID-19, which causes the new choreography, said Faik Hoti, spokesman for the Ministry of Health for Radio Free Europe.
According to him, during this week in Kosovo, 10,000 more tests are expected, with about 6,500 of them donated from Qatar, while the rest of the tests will be provided by previous contractors, which are mainly remittances from the United States, Germany and England.
The National Institute has about 10 thousand available tests, so enough to test people with indicators for testing, contacts of positive cases and hospitalised suspects at the Infectious Clinic, Hoti said.
Only in the last three days have 160 new Corleone cases been confirmed, out of 805 people tested.
Despite this, Health Minister Armend Zemaj himself, during last week (June 11th) in the Kosovo Assembly, said large-scale tests are missing, adding that this has been disturbing for him. The same day, the Zemaj ministry reported that the Kosovo diaspora has handed over the Kosovo Public Health Institute 12,000 tests.
Commenting on his minister's statements, spokesman Hoti said Zemaj has wanted to draw attention to the need for Kosovo to have as many tests available to test as many people as possible.
Many cases in public and private companies
The PCR [Polymerase Chain Reaction] test, which currently takes place in Kosovo, determines whether the virus is active, analyzing strists from nose and throat.
By June 14th, a total of 18,512 people have been tested in Kosovo, mainly contact cases, and 1,486 have resulted positive in COVID-19. Only in the last three days have 160 new Corleone cases been confirmed, out of 805 people tested.
Tests are being conducted daily on the basis of epidemiological indicators, and no citizen will remain untested on the basis of symptoms
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Kosovo, 33 people have died with this virus.
According to the National Institute of Public Health (IKSHP), positive cases have appeared last week among employees in public and private institutions, agencies, business companies and private businesses.
Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has said on Friday in a press proposal, that the situation is alarming, and that if the measures are not respected, then authorities will be forced to reverse measures COVID-19, which was released two weeks ago.
Director IKSHP's Nasser Ramadani days ago said this Institute had and is doing enough tests.
Tests are being conducted daily on the basis of epidemiological indicators, and no citizen will remain untested on the basis of symptoms”, Ramadani said.

Albania with smaller number of per capita testings in the region
The spokesman, Faik Hoti, meanwhile, said they are considering the possibility of doing serological tests. Serological tests are those that can be proven if a person had a coronary. Unlike tests from the National Institute of Public Health so far in writing, nose, or mouth, the serological test is done through blood samples.

Such tests are important in determining the degree of immunity to COVID-19, especially in people who have not shown symptoms.
“As the minister, we are also thinking of doing serological tests in the future, but this is supposed to be done after the current situation is over with many cases, Hoti said.
According to worlds.info, a website that broadcasts the latest figures on real-time coronarys, Albania through June 14th has conducted 6,341 tests for one million inhabitants, Serbia 34,665 tests for one million people, North Macedonia 20,659, and Montenegro 20,995 for one million people.
