KMDLNJ has reacted after Health Minister Armend Zemaj's warnings of using law force to those who do not respect anti-protective measures CO VID-19, saying this does not give the country's top leaders the right to threaten citizens, given the lack of legal base.
A media communiqué says Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Minister Armend Zemaj have the obligation and responsibility for citizens, especially those whose material opportunities are small, to be supplied with free protection tools as long as there have been many international donations for this.
The rare “is those who have the potential for a protective mask for a use to pay from 1 euros per person and from 1 euros to each family member. Instead of the threat, an opportunity must be given for citizens to be supplied with free protection measures. In Kosovo, no state of emergency has been declared, so there is no possibility of using extraordinary legal means that are not regulated by law”, said in response.
The KMDLNJ appeals to citizens to adhere to recommendations of institutions responsible for managing the situation and urges the Government of Kosovo to further support the health system on which the main burden is falling in fighting pandemic.
