According to foreign media, it reads Telegram, during a meeting at the “G20” summit in June 2019 in Japan, Jinping addressed Trump for the criticism of China in the United States.
He changed the subject at that point, and returned to the conversation about the upcoming US presidential election, alluding to China's economic power to influence ongoing campaigns, praying Jinping to him provided Trump victory”, Bolton writes.
The book, which is expected to be published by Bolton, describes Trump's actions when he tried to pressure the Ukrainian president to help harm the Democrat rival, Joe Biden, in exchange for military aid, writes The Washington Post.
Recent claims for China also come amid constant warnings from American intelligence agencies for warning of an external intervention, as did Russia in 2016.
