In Italy, there have been more than 23 victims of the new coronary during the last 24-hour period, the Civil Protection Agency has announced on Monday.
This has brought the total number of deaths in the country to 34,657, where 16,573 lives were reported only in the Lombardy region.
On the other hand, the peninsula, of 28,972 tests conducted on the virus causing the Devi-19 disease, only 218 resulted positive with the pandemic virus, according to the Civil Protection Agency.
Accumulated figures of the infected since the first instance have gone to 238,720.
While Italy has drastically facilitated the measures, in its hospitals, in the intensive care unit respectively, 127 patients are being treated at the overall level.
So far, according to Worldometer, Italy has 20,637 active cases.
