Infectious Clinic there are 42 people with oxygen therapy, 4 in critical condition.

Infectious Clinic Director Lindita Ajazaj-Berisha for Kosova Press said that 11 people are in attendance for the test for COVID-19.

“At the Infectious Clinic currently account for 94 hospitalised patients, of which are 83 patients who are positive COVID, while 11 cases are pending results. Of patients who are 42 cases of positive hospitals are in oxygen therapy, while 4 patients are in intensive treatment of the Infectious Clinic in critical state”, she said.

Ajazaj-Berisha also talked about the patient who today passed away as a result of this virus.

The early hours of the morning, it ended with fatality, which has been accepted because of the positive COVID, which in the early hours of the morning has ended in death. It's about a 52-year-old patient from Rahoveci”, she said.

The director of the Infectious Clinic said that currently none of this clinic's medical staff is positive with COVID. She adds that for now they are equipped with protective measures and believe that no trouble will be in this regard.

“Even at the moment we are supplied with protective measures and I think that even in the future since we are the clinic that we deal with these cases, I think that in the future we will be supplied and we will not have problems”, Ajazaj-Berisha said.

It appeals to Kosovo citizens for respecting health institutions' recommendations, such as wearing masks and social distance for preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Since March, when the first infections were recorded so far, Kosovo has 2073 cases of COVID-19, of them 1018 healed and 36 people dead.
