The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, after returning from Brussels has spoken of the EU-led dialogue process and the annulment of the trip to Washington.
Hoti has said that Kosovo is committed to dialogue as an alternative and as a process should be completed very quickly, as it has enormous interest from Brussels and Washington.
“We remain committed to dialogue. We believe that dialogue has no alternative. I have also introduced that attitude to the EU. It is of interest for Kosovo to close this process as soon as possible, as there is great interest in the EU and the US. Because of developments in recent days, we have postponed our visit to Washington”, Hoti said at a news conference.
He has also indicated that he has been in intensive communication with Ambassador Greenell for the annulment of the June 27th meeting, until he has added that very soon the new date of the meeting will be set in Washington.
I had intense communication with Ambassador Green. After the discussion we had with him, we agreed to postpone him for another date, which will be set soon. The meeting agenda remains the same, to promote dialogue through economic development”, Hoti stressed.
Among other things, the prime minister has said that recent preparations are under way for the summit's appointment in Paris.
My “are now becoming the final arrangements for the Paris Summit, which will be chaired by Germany and France”, has added Hoti.
