The Office of Special Prosecutors in The Hague has nominated charges against President Hashim Thaci and PDK Chairman Kadri Wessel for allegedly war crimes in Kosovo.
And this has caused the country's leader to cancel the planned visit to the US today.
Grenelli has announced that our country's head has informed him he has cancelled his trip to Washington following the announcement made by the Special Prosecutors' Office.
I respect his decision not to participate in discussions until the legal issues of those claims are resolved”, Grenelli wrote.
He has announced that the June 27th talks will be led by Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq.
“We look forward to Saturday's discussions, which will be led by President Vuciq and Prime Minister Hoti”, wrote Grenelli on Twitter.
