The decision to close the borders has been taken by the government last year in charge of Albin Kurti, as a preventative measure to the spread of the Devov-19 pandemic in Kosovo.

But, now because of improving the situation with Covid-19, the new government with Avdullah Hotin prime minister has made a decision to open borders.

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Albulen Balaj, who comes from the Social Democrat Initiative in today's government meeting, has said the government should apologise to Albanian citizens for not opening the border.

Balaj has said that the border with Serbia by the Kurti government has been open courses with Albania not.

We must first apologize to Albania's citizens, since the border with Kosovo has been closed by the past government, meanwhile with Serbia, the border has been open”, she has said.

Labour Minister Skender Recica has said at this meeting that closing the border between Kosovo and Albania should not be repeated.

“The closure of the border between Kosovo and Albania should not be repeated again”, Recica has said./Periscopi/
