The Gjakova municipality has made several decisions on protecting public health.
According to the Kosovo Government's decision, with the aim of preventing Avid-19, the mayor of the municipality, Ardian Gjini, made a decision to reduce the staff of administration workers. Those who stay at home will carry out their homework online from home.
Also banned are all municipal administration physical meetings with all parties interested. All demands on the outside are addressed electronically. The municipal administration is obliged to respond to citizens and all interested parties online as well.
The property and public tax service will be open to citizens, with reduced staff. At the same time, citizens who enter within the municipality are obliged to be equipped with masks and protective gloves.
The municipality says the Inspectorate, along with the Kosovo Police, will do rigorous checks regarding the use of protective means, in all public and private institutions.
