The Eiffel Tower will reopen to the public from June 25th, after three months of closure and only until the second floor, the official monument company announced today.
“After more than three months of closure under COVID-19's pandemic, the longest closure since World War II, the Eiffel Tower will reopen to the public on June 25, 2020, at 10 a.m.”, she wrote on her website, reports ATS.
According to the operating company, wearing masks from 11 years of age and older will be mandatory, only the stairs will be used, the number of visitors will be limited to rail and floor, as well as one direction of movement will be determined.
The Eiffel Tower, built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel, hosts nearly 7 million visitors a year.
